Bistro Guillaume Review

Bistro Guillaume, Burswood

It is not often that we go out for a fancy meal without the kids, we we were looking forward to going to this French bistro at the Casino. We heard that the duck dish was their specialty, but as we wanted to try a few different things we did not go for this dish to share. It ended up being a bit of a seafood night. We started with the blue crab salad and octopus salad, then one main we tried as the john dory fish. The other main was rack of lamb (off the bone). As a side we had the confit potatoes. There are two sittings, which is managed well with the quick service. We fortunately were seated near the window looking out over the pool area, which was quite romantic. Some of the other seating was less formal, so if you have a choice choose a corner somewhere.
